Labor Day

This Labor Day, we did something that we have yet to do. We went to Lake Lewisville . We got together with some friends to spend a few hours out on the water eating, talking, and swimming.

There were 6 adults and well, I think that we won for the most small children on a boat ever.

Jenna with her best buddy, Tessa, ready to soak in the sun.

Somehow, Ian became our captain. He probably took the boat faster than it has ever gone. I didn't know that a pontoon boat could go as fast as he made it go.

Julie became Reagan's taxi.

Mostly everyone was willing to get into the water immediately. Some of us enjoyed watching them, before jumping in ourselves (not me though, I was the camera lady for the morning).

Jenna loved the water and didn't want to go home.

Ian and Reagan

Tessa and Jamie

Taylor and Reagan

By the end of our outing, Ian became the skipper and Tyler took over as captain. He was quite a good little driver and didn't scare Jenna with his driving (Ian!).

We had a good time on the lake and have decided that we need to go back again soon. Maybe get an even bigger boat next time and really break the record for the most kids on one boat!

that looks so fun! we haven't done boating with our kids yet, even though everyone we know does it all the time! we so jealous. and nope, someone we know takes their one year old out on their boat every weekend, so your kids aren't the youngest:) glad you guys had a great labor day! we didn't do anything special, just swimming at our neighborhood pool and hanging out. oh and i had a good nap:) a great day.

Hey, what was the water like? We've had a picnic at Lake Lewisville, but never went swimming.
