President Gordon B. Hinckley passed away yesterday. He was an amazing man and a wonderful Prophet. Thanks to him, there is no longer just one temple in Texas. What a blessing that is.I am greatful to have lived while he was the Prophet. Every time I think of the song "We Thank Thee Oh God for Our Prophet", I will always have him in my heart.

He will be so missed! Every time I see a picture of him I think of how loving and gentle he was. I was lucky enough to see him in person 2 times in my life- Once at conference and once when the Sacramento Temple was dedicated. Treasured memories!
I will always remember his wonderful spirit and sense of humor. The B's speech and the many wonderful temples we have because of him. It was always wonderful listening to him. I will miss him, but am happy he is with his dear wife that he missed greatly.
I will miss him so much. Its weird how I never got to meet him(saw him a few times though, but never got to shake his hand:( but how I felt so close to him as if I really did know him. He was an amazing prophet and an amazing man! I'm sad he is gone but happy for him at the same time. I know he is home.
